Block Christmas trees
After making the last two pairs of cards I was left with all the blocks that had been cut out to make those trees. Rather than waste them, I decided to turn them into some more cards for this year's stash.
Glitter block Christmas tree
The second pair of my block Christmas tree cards. I'm using the same design but I still want to vary the cards, so this time I went for a more glittery approach.

Having successfully ignored the C-word for many weeks, I had to give in and start making some Christmas cards, if only to avoid getting ridiculously stressed out when December arrives all too quickly.
Blackberry forager
Mice and blackberries are the perfect combination for a birthday card for my mum and I was lucky that two bits of inspiration turned up at just the right time.
Bountiful bouquet
Yes it's another Power Poppy floral card — rudbeckias and berries this time — but at least I changed up the usual pink and purple Copic palette for a more autumnal one, and then finished it off with coloured pencils.
Lollipop bunny
I had run out of bunnies, I wasn't being inspired by the ones I was finding online and I couldn't possibly make anything other than a bunny birthday card, so there was only one thing left to do: design my own.
Berberis landscape
Another birthday, another card. This time I made a gelli print landscape, and then had to create my own stencil to complete the design.
80th roses and violets
This card was an exercise in finding balance between "it's a big birthday, let's shout it from the rooftops" and my own "age is a meaningless number" aversion to drawing attention to it. I'm happy with the compromise...
Steam duck
This is what happens when I ask for suggestions for a card design: I end up designing a digi stamp from scratch and having to work out how to colour distressed yellow metal, all to create "steam duck".
Tom Servo
I really need to get out of the habit of coming up with ideas for cards only a few days before they're needed. Luckily I worked out how to create the cut file design, assembled the finished Tom Servo card, and beat the deadline this time.
Butterfly rose
Time to make birthday cards for the twins again. I made it easier on myself by using a frame die set, and then harder again by getting the microfine glitter out.
