I nearly missed it. I haven’t been checking Instagram recently — the algorithmic ordering causes me ridiculous stress (3 hours, 6 days, 3 days, 6 days, 20 minutes, 2 days etc etc, just show me the most recent ones first!) — and I’d somehow missed Kathy Racoosin’s advance announcement on her blog. Luckily I spotted someone blogging their day one colouring in time to do some of my own.
I did it! I coloured something every day for 30 days. I did fail in one respect though… I had intended to try to reduce the size of my printed digis and unused stamps piles and well… cough… that didn’t quite work out as planned 🙄
Still going! Some more Copic colouring, some heat embossing techniques and a shiny experiment on vellum.
Another five days colouring and another two stamps sets used, along with a digi stamp that I’ve had for ages.
Another five days of colouring. As well as using my Copics again — and even doing another lesson in the Autumn Scenes mini course — I also did my first bit of coloured pencil work in a long time and even got out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
I managed to do some more colouring each day, making it a third of the way through the challenge. I even made a few complete cards along the way.
I’ve been doing some colouring for The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge, picking random digi stamps out of the pile…
