The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge #14

The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge #14

What:

Day fourteen of The Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge. After I saw Sandy Allnock’s beautiful black and white flowers I knew I had to give the technique a go for the colouring challenge. And then I got my Ellie stamp and, well, what better to colour in grey than an elephant… I must try out some different watercolour papers though — the Derwent pad seems to pill up really quickly, which kind of defeats the point of watercolour paper.

Inspired by:

Sandy Allnock demonstrating how to use water with images stamped in Memento ink.

Supplies:

  • stamps:
    Avery Elle – Ellie
  • colour:
Memento – ink pad – tuxedo black
Memento – ink pad – desert sand
    Uni-ball – Signo gel pen – gold
  • paper and card:
    Derwent – watercolour paper – 300gsm
