This was only the second wedding card I’ve made. The first card was all flowers, embossing and ribbons, and I wanted to create a cleaner, more graphic feel for this one.
For me, dimension pretty much means popping something up on foam tape on the front of a card. There have been a few exceptions — an action wobbler here and there and a box card that I now realise never made it onto the blog (adds to todo list) — but certainly nothing that wouldn’t fit in an envelope. But then I decided to try out a bit of mixed media style craftiness to take me well out of my comfort zone and what better excuse than a wedding card for a friend who appreciates my creations.
My other half’s nephew is getting married, so I had to figure out how to make a wedding card.
