Mother’s Day: Doodle blooms

doodle blooms

This card was created on February 26th; ready for the time of year when the floral stamp sets come into their own… Mother’s Day. I made this one for my other half’s mum.

Inspired by:

This card by Sharon Hayes on Instagram.

How:

Stamping, heat embossing, Distress ink blending and fussy cutting. All far easier and quicker than arranging the individual finished elements into an arrangement I liked. The flowers and leaves were fixed to the background panel (more ink blending there); some pieces were glued flat and others were popped up on foam tape.

The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed on a die-cut vellum panel, which was glued to the main panel with a few dots of multi-medium matte hidden behind some Doodlebug sprinkles.
