By the time I had got Birka’s address and then found the time to focus and actually write in the card I made for her, it was an embarrassingly long time after her birthday. In fact, it was getting dangerously close to Christmas.
Back on my usual form this month and dashing around on the last day to get this cute little raccoon all coloured up and on a card in time to submit it to Gerda Steiner’s progressive challenge for October.
This card was created on 30th July: day 26 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.
I loved the black-stamped version of this bear so I decided to be brave and make one of my infrequent attempts at no-line Copic colouring and try to recreate it using the same colour palette. For me, no-line either turns out nicely or is a complete and utter disaster, there doesn’t seem to be any middle ground. Luckily this one turned out nicely.
An attempt at no-line colouring with Copic markers that I’m actually happy to show to people — I had a go at this technique a few months ago and that one quickly ended up in the bin 🙂
