Another masculine card to make. They’re hard enough to come up with ideas for when you know the person well, but when it’s a nephew who you haven’t seen in ages and who is somehow now 22 years old, well… If it was a niece, I’d do flowers, but my fallback for men seems to be monsters at the moment.
And I do enjoy colouring fur. For this one, I added fine lines using a lavender Copic multiliner — it looks a little scruffy in the detail photo, but that’s because that’s so much larger than the real-life version. At actual size, it just adds a nice bit of extra texture.
For the sentiment, I reached for my Dymo labeller and some black tape; I don’t use it often, but it does make an interesting sentiment with a bit more personality than a simple stamped “happy birthday”.
