This was created on 13th July: day 9 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.
These art deco style roses were a little time consuming to colour — there are a lot of tiny areas in there — but I love the designs. I may have gone a bit overboard with all the faux stitching, but one line really wasn’t enough… and anyway, I was creating it for fun, not with the aim of producing a masterpiece 🙂
How:
I stamped the roses on black card in Versamark and heat embossed them in white. Then I coloured them in with metallic Gelly Roll pens, which give a decent coverage over the black card, and finished the panel off with alternating lines of gold and silver faux stitching.
I decided to keep it simple and just mount it flat on a pink card base, chosen to match the colour of the roses.
