Another catch-up post; this card was originally made on February 12th as part of the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.
This is the coloured pencil version of my “colouring on kraft” trial. I find pencils to be physically much harder work than Copics, but I do like the results so I shall persevere, occasionally… The Copic version is over here for comparison.
How:
Once I’d coloured the stamp, I outlined her in white the same way I did for the Copic version. I used the stitched journalling card to die-cut around her (the perfect size for her).
For the background, I did some ink blending with Distress inks to give a slightly textured, grungy look. I added some hearts to the base and image panel and stamped a sentiment. Then the only thing left to do was to mount the panel on a piece of fun foam on the card base.
