Another catch-up post; this card was originally made on February 9th as part of the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.
I’ve seen people colouring on kraft card with both Copics and coloured pencils, but it’s not something I’ve tried much. I thought that the colouring challenge was a good opportunity to test both mediums on kraft with the same stamp. This is the Copic version.
How:
The first thing I did — after stamping the image on a die-cut panel — was to print out and colour a version of Sandy Allnock’s hex chart on kraft card so that I had a reference for choosing colours to use. Once that was done, the colouring was pretty straightforward. I gave her a white line border to set her off from the background card colour, stamped a simple sentiment, and added a few enamel accents to the corners. Some strips of washi tape on the card base provided a splash of colour.
