The Daily Marker Challenge #11 day 1–5

Well, five days in and I haven’t given up yet 🙂

And I’ve completed one card and done the colouring for another so that’s definite progress on the Christmas card list. I say that like I actually have a final finished list of cards I have to make, whereas, in practice, I actually have a vague list from last year and a shorter list of family cards just in my head…

Day 1 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge – I haven’t been doing much colouring recently (apart from my mum’s card) so this is a good excuse to get back into practice. I am going to try and use it to motivate me to get my individual Christmas cards done, but first, a rooster! #copic #polychromos #craftindesertdivas

I was going to leave it and do the wreath tomorrow but I got carried away! I still need to add some pencil detail for texture on the hair… with a sentiment and a bit of bling, that’ll be the first of the family Christmas cards done. #thedailymarker30day #copic #christmas #theeastwind #powerpoppy

A bit of pencil colouring for texture in the hair and shading on the face and then blue Copic for the background and that finished off the colouring. Then I just had to fussy cut it, add glossy accents and wink of stella and add it to a card (yay, I actually used some patterned paper!) and that’s one off my Christmas card list. #thedailymarker30day #copic #christmas #handmadecards

Overslept this morning and haven’t been feeling particularly perky all day, but at least I made a bit of a start on this #polkadoodles Christmas stamp. I think she’s finished, but I’ll have to check in daylight. I hate it when the clocks go back – my SAD light really doesn’t compensate for the loss of an hour of light.
