Like the dragons, this fox was coloured for the critters lesson in Sandy Allnock’s Copic Jumpstart class and I am really happy with the fur texture I managed to create. It is possible to get really fine lines with a Copic marker, but you do need a very light hand to do it…
The fox is so cute that I wanted to give him a simple setting and make him the real star on the card. I started by die-cutting the arrowed circle and making a sentiment banner, but it needed a little more — all the white was a bit too austere. I had a rummage through my stash and found this shiny green card, which works nicely peeking through the die-cut.
Supplies:
- stamps:
The Greeting Farm – cuddly thanks
Clearly Besotted – sentimental type - dies:
Poppystamps – spinning circles - inks:
Versafine – onyx black - paper and card:
Hunkydory adorable scorable – cotton white
Neenah solar white 216gsm
scrap of green foil card
Another catch-up post. This card was created on 1st September 2016 as part of a brief blitz on my PHD box.
So cute!
