What:
Day twenty-seven of the second Daily Marker 30 day colouring challenge. I stepped away from the Copics and watercolours today and made a card with some alcohol ink instead.
Inspired by:
The starting point for my design thoughts was a split panel watercolour card.
How:
The marbled panel was created by first adding drops of alcohol ink onto a felt pad on an ink blending tool. This was then dabbed and twisted on a piece of glossy cardstock.
I die-cut one large and three tiny stitched circles from the panel and then cut the large circle into three, making sure the centre strip was wide enough to mount the die-cut sentiment on.
The centre strip of the large circle was mounted on foam tape and the other pieces were all stuck flat to the card base.
Supplies:
- dies:
Lawn Fawn – small stitched circles
Mama Elephant – hello script - inks:
Ranger – Adirondack alcohol inks - paper and card:
Papermill Direct – plain black
