Pitcher of tulips

I coloured this image once before but there are so many ways to colour tulips that doing it again doesn’t feel like repeating myself. I did spend quite a bit of time browsing through Google images to find one that inspired me before settling on red ones with orangey-yellow petal tips.

Nothing out of the ordinary technique-wise with this card. Just a reliable Power Poppy digi stamp (tulips in hobnail pitcher) and Copic colouring with a few pencil details, finished off with a heat-embossed sentiment on a strip of vellum.

Copic markers:

tulips – YG41, RV25, R35, YR12, YR65, Y32
leaves – V25, YG09, YG13
stems – V20, YG03, YG01
vase – YG03, N2, V95, V93, V91
surface – E44, E43, E42, E41, E40

Derwent Lightfast pencils:

tulips – purple
leaves – midnight blue, foliage
vase – violet
