Whenever I make anything there are the inevitable odds and ends that are left over and they tend to get unceremoniously dumped into a convenient box and forgotten about. Over time I had accumulated at least four such piles and I decided it was time to have a sort through. Nothing much got thrown out (it rarely does), but I did manage to tidy some of it away and reorganise the rest into two small boxes.
At the bottom of one of the boxes were these bells, baubles and reindeer. I think they must have been made around the time I was testing the Deco Foil transfer gel — which means they’ve been sat there for four years… I figured that was quite long enough and turned them into these three cards.
I found some matching embroidery thread, attached it to each of the die-cut pieces and then mounted them on a piece of card with some thin foam tape to give them a bit of dimension. I wrapped the thread around the back of the card and fixed it to the card base. It needed a little something extra so I drew some faux stitching around the edges.
