Alcohol ink landscapes

Before I created the alcohol ink landscape I used for my brother’s birthday card, I had a number of practice attempts…

I was following the basic instructions in Alcohol Ink Dreamscaping, working out what I liked and didn’t. I’m not so keen on spritzing alcohol (that seems even less predictable than laying down the inks in the first place), and I cannot get the mixatives to naturally form a nice even sun/moon circle.

But I do love the flow of the alcohol inks and the layers you can create.

While I made these primarily as a warm-up before making the card for my brother, there are a couple that I might consider turning into cards.

The others will probably get used either for die-cutting or for collage.
