After proving to myself that I could get the hang of the basics of weaving, I decided to have another go, this time trying a few different techniques.
Rather than just grabbing the first things that came to hand like last time, I hunted through my stash for a selection of neutral fibres of various types: merino wool scraps, felting wool, and sari silk, alongside the regular wool that I use for crochet.

The end result is a little unbalanced design-wise, but then I was essentially making it up as I went along and it is only meant to be a sampler. Now I just have to work out how to design a piece from scratch…

Supplies:
- Tools:
acrylic loom kit from Studio Rudolph on Etsy - Fibre:
White warp thread from Amazon UK
DK yarn from my stash
White felting wool from Amazon UK
Merino wool scraps from The Dorothy Days on Etsy
Sari silk ribbon from YarnYarn on eBay

Oh I like this! So many different textures! Love it!
