Series: The Daily Marker Art Card #08
Another Power Poppy digi stamp; this time it’s some simple coneflowers rather than a full bouquet and I kept the colouring simple to match. The only thing I did out of the ordinary was to add texture to the background by dabbing lightly and repeatedly with a small piece of kitchen roll moistened with 0 refill.
Copic markers:
orange – Y17, YR16, YR18, E19
green – YG63, G46
background – BV02, 0
Supplies:
- digital stamps:
Power Poppy – easy breezy coneflowers - dies:
Marianne Design – ATC - embellishments:
Tim Holtz Idea-ology – metallic stickers – quotations - paper and card:
Neenah Solar White 216gsm
black card

Love it! I have often done something similar with my background. I love finding different materials to put a little blender solution on and gently tap my background to add some interest. I love the outcome!

It’s a really handy technique and you can get quite a variety of effects (and it’s really useful when larger areas don’t turn out as smoothly as you’d like!)
