For the first one of these I made, I stamped the tree as a silhouette in black. Now, I quite like that one, but my other half declared it to be “creepy and deserving of a ghost story”, so I stamped the rest in green. Unfortunately, the colour change decision was made after I had painted all of the blue moons and a couple of them were darker along the bottom edge behind the tree and it shows through the green… Ah well, they’re handmade and individual, I’m calling it quirky…
These were nice simple cards to make: paint the moon, stamp the tree, mask and ink blend the ground, stamp the sentiment, and finish off with some glittery snow.

Oh I like the black one! I have done something similar. The black one reminds me of dusk with the moon rising in the background. Love it! The green ones are nice too!
