Crayon flowers on black

crayon-flowers

I was surprised how well these wax oil pastels worked. I thought I was pushing it — trying them on an image with quite small petals and leaves — and I didn’t expect to be able to get anywhere near the amount of blending I did. It’s another one of those things where you think you must try it again soon and then completely forget about it…

I kept the card design simple: I just die-cut the panel using a stitched rectangle, added a sentiment using the same embossing powder, and mounted it flat on card base.

Another catch-up post. This card was created on 1st September 2016 as part of a brief blitz on my PHD box.

    1. Thanks! I love experimenting – the successes are super satisfying and the rare completely unsavable disaster ends up in the bin, never to be mentioned 🙂
