Winter box

I love my Copics, but I also love trying new things and playing with different styles and techniques. And well… anything that gives me an excuse to go shopping for more stash! At the end of last year I decided to leap waaaaaaay out of my comfort zone and try some dimensional mixed media.

I tend to stick to fairly flat designs. I like to have a little bit of dimension on my cards, but that’s normally limited to popping something up on some foam tape. And I don’t do a lot of layering — I’m getting better at it, but it’s not something that comes naturally.

So when my mojo was waning after the Christmas card frenzy, buying a box from Craft Box might have seemed foolhardy. It was certainly jumping in at the deep end, but it was fun and I am really pleased with the finished box. I have no idea what I will do with it — the one thing I am short of is space to display things like this…
