I have to take a break from my Copic markers every now and again — just for a bit of variety — and I do enjoy playing with the Zig real brush markers, even if I do need way more practise with them. When I pulled the digi print from the stack I’d prepared for the colouring challenge, I looked at it and saw a duck, which is why it’s very yellow. It was only when I started writing up the supplies list that I realised that it was supposed to be a penguin… oh well…
I used a piece of embossed acetate that I’d made during the Online Card Classes Clear and Sheer class to create a background for the fussy cut duck. (Note: fussy cutting watercolour paper is a right pain.)

Oh what a great job! Great coloring the duck…if you would not have told us, I would not have know that it was supposed to be a penguin! Coloring what your eye sees usually turns out great! And, yes, fussy cutting watercolor paper is a real pain! 🙂
