Christmas: Girl with reindeer

Girl with reindeer

Christmas in July. I really don’t want to end up rushing to make cards in the run-up to Christmas like I did last year, so I’m making a start on them now.

How:

I printed the digi stamp on some Neenah solar white and coloured it with Copic markers, sticking with the traditional Christmas colour scheme of red, green and white.

I added some sparkle to the trim with the Spectrum Noir marker, but the shiny kept transferring onto my fingers even once it was dry so I layered some pico embellisher over the top to keep it under control. The bells and the reindeer’s nose were given a coat of glossy accents. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine onyx black as that gives a nice solid black impression.

I trimmed the image panel to size, mounted it flush on a card base and then added a thin strip of silver tape down one edge. A flurry of sequins across the card finished it off.
