What:
Catching up on day 3 of The Daily Marker Pop-up Challenge and I created a framed background for another piece from my colouring stash.
How:
I coloured the dragon with Copics some time ago, but hadn’t come up with a suitable card to put it on. It seemed like the perfect piece to use for Kathy’s challenge to make a frame with lines.
I needed to create a simple background to put the frame around, so I took a piece of watercolour paper, masked off a square in the centre and created some stripes with gelatos. The frame was drawn using a Copic multiliner and a ruler.
The card was finished by mounting the watercolour panel on a green card base and then using some thin foam tape to add the dragon on top.
