What:
A simple one-layer card that finally gets me using my stencils.
How:
I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then positioned the stencil over it. I picked three colours and carefully inked areas of the stencil, masking with scrap paper as needed. I originally left some white space around the sentiment, but then I realised I’d managed to smudge the edge, so I replaced the stencil and fill in the remaining gaps. This looked okay, but the sentiment did kind of disappear a bit; silver gel pen to the rescue and the outlined “Birthday” pops out again..
