Gilded feathers

What:

A birthday card for one of my other half’s nieces – something brightly coloured and shiny.

Inspired by:

I’ve made Distress ink watercolour backgrounds before, but I liked the idea of combining it with the popped-up die-cut lettering that Kristina Werner used for her “hugs” card.

Supplies:

Hero Arts – it’s your day
    Waltzingmouse Stamps – funky feathers
  • dies:
    All Occasion Dies – happy
    Waltzingmouse Stamps – funky feathers
  • colour:
Distress ink pads – barn door, tattered rose, wild honey
IndigoBlu – mega-flake gilding flakes – winter dawn
  • embellishments:
    red sequins
  • paper and card:
    Ranger – Distress watercolor cardstock
Feather gilding
