Horse chestnut leaf canvas

I have two sets of the Pebeo decorative paints so, when I made the oak leaf canvas with the Prisme paints, I made another one with the Pebeo Moon set. This time I created a horse chestnut leaf and built the contour lines around that shape.

Again, I was limited to the six colours in the set and, again, it didn’t create the textured finish that it should (in this case a hammered effect). The gentle swirls in the dried pant are quite pleasing though.

I have another couple of canvases the same size as these (5″ square) and I’m thinking about making some more of these: a set of four could look nice on the wall.
