Art card: Stripes & Circles

Yes. They do look like googly eyes. No. That wasn’t the intention. But, yes, it does amuse me 🙂

More thin strips of card. This is a great way to use up those odd offcuts of patterned or painted papers and makes an interesting, more individual, alternative to using patterned paper straight out of a pad. I made this Christmas card last year using strips and this gift card a few years ago, and I have more panels in my stash.

The “eyes” are each made of two circles of card, with a smaller offset circle cut out of the top one. The two were stuck together with adhesive sheet, leaving exposed adhesive in the smaller circle which was then covered with black microfine glitter.
