After completing the Winter Storybook mini class from Sandy Allnock over on Art-Classes, I was inspired to go back to the City Sidewalks mini class. I made a start on it last year, though I didn’t get past making a card based on the first lesson.
Normally I follow along closely with the classes first time through, replicating the image as exactly as I can, to get a feel for the techniques involved. But this time, I already knew that I wanted to use the winter park setting for the cute snowman I picked up from The Paper Shelter. (I keep saying I’m not going to buy any more digi stamps until I’ve used more of the ones I have, but then…)
I am really pleased with how this one turned out; I still need to work on creating natural tree shapes, but that’s just a case of finding some nice reference images rather than doing it from my imagination.

Thank you! I’m having to be strict with myself especially with all the sale offers coming in at the moment! So far I have managed to delete all the emails without buying anything else 🙂

I haven’t been quite so strict. 🤣🤣. I should just delete them but my “crafty” side say don’t delete until you at least take a look. 🤣🤣
