Christmas sheep in rainbow forest

Christmas card with a small sheep sitting on the snow in front of a glowing pinky-purple tree line.

This is the fifth of this year’s Copic-coloured Christmas cards and this one is based on the final lesson in the Winter Storybook class from Sandy Allnock over on Art-Classes.

I’m a lot happier with the trees on this card; I made the main one a little more substantial than the ones on the cat in the woods card, and the background ones are all much skinnier and form a cohesive background.

The pinky-purple with the light glowing through works really nicely and the tree shadows add a satisfying touch of depth to the scene.

The finishing touch was another little sheep that has been lurking in my stash for a long time.

Close-up of the sheep and the centre of the card.
