Butterfly drips

A gold butterfly on a purple painted square over a kraft coloured square with a golden drips heading to the bottom of the panel.

When I made the butterfly grid, I had a few squares and butterflies left over.

Three panels with orange, green and pink painted squares.

I decided to make some simple panels with them which could either be framed as is, or turned into cards with the addition of a sentiment banner underneath the painted square.

A close-up of the gold butterfly on the purple square.

The kraft squares were looking a bit too clean in contrast with the grunginess of the twinchies, so I painted golden drips around the bottom of them which seems to balance everything out nicely.

The butterfly panel displayed on a small wooden easel.
