Series: The Daily Marker Art Card #23
I’ve coloured this digi once before, but that time I used my Inktense pencils. I want to like this Copic version more than I do and the really annoying thing is that I’m not quite sure what’s wrong with it.
Up close, I like it, but from a distance â and especially on Instagram on my phone â the big bunny looks wrong. I think it’s a combination of things:
– there’s not enough contrast to give proper shape to the face, the little bunny has more dimension
– I’m not happy with my colour choice, even after adding black Glaze pen to the eyes, they don’t stand out
– the dotted texture does exactly what I intended it to, I just don’t like the effect on the face
I’m trying to decide whether I can fix it without making it worse, because I’m really happy with the little bunny and I’m definitely happy with how the tall grass turned out â it’s just the bit in the middle that could be better… And yes, I know I am being super picky…

It really is adorable, and very good for practising fur textures…
