Series: The Daily Marker Art Card #20
It’s around this point in every Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge that I stare at the things I’ve already coloured and start wondering what colours I can use without repeating myself. Eventually, I settled on this dark pink, kind of burgundy.
Backgrounds are another thing that I’m really having to think hard about — I seem to have decided that everything must have a background of some description, even if it’s just a solid colour. I thought about creating a wavy curtain behind this one but ended up making the folds a bit more subtle.
I was given a selection of rub-ons a year or so ago and I’d pretty much just chucked them in a drawer and never used them; one of those “I’ll do something with them one day” bits of stash. Well, I am so glad I got them out for this challenge, they really do work brilliantly for embellishing these art cards.
