The only other Easter card I made this year: the inevitable Easter bunny… Any excuse to colour up a bunny for my other half’s sister. It’s so satisfying making a card for someone who truly appreciates it; she keeps all my cards and has even been known to “look after” ones I’ve made for her (grown-up) children 🙂
I only discovered Lee Holland’s digi stamps at the end of last year, when I made a bouncing bunny Christmas card. I do have a few more cute images waiting to be used, including some squirrels and mice.
I kept this card simple, but it was looking a bit bare with just the stitched die-cut border. Some people manage to create hand-drawn sketchy frames with apparent ease, most of the time I try it just ends up looking like I tried to draw a straight line and failed! Somehow this one doesn’t look awful 🙂 I think the extra corners really help.
At the last minute, I remembered that I have a load of butterfly embellishments in with my sequin stash and found some that matched the teal colour on the egg.

Copic markers:
bunny – E70, E71, E74, E77, E95
egg, orange – Y18, Y38, YR04
egg, teal – BG53, BG57, BG18
egg, blue – B02, B04, B06
daffodils – Y18, N3, YG25
grass – YG03, YG25, YG17
