The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge #12

tdm30dcc12

Just in time to give my motivation a much-needed kick, along comes the twelfth Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Any thoughts about maybe slacking off a little this time around were firmly dismissed when I was asked to help out as one of Kathy Racoosin’s team of goodwill ambassadors!

I’ve taken part in every one of the challenges so far and, even though I have skipped a few days here and there, that is a lot of colouring, most of which did make its way onto the blog here under the tag thedailymarker30day.

So I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to lend a hand in making sure that everyone who joins in gets a feel for just how much community spirit has grown around this challenge.

I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone who has any interest in colouring to join in. Don’t be put off by the word “challenge”, it’s really just an excuse to spend a few minutes applying colour to paper. Do it every day if you can, but don’t stress if real life gets in the way. And feel free to interpret “colouring” however best suits your style: most people colour stamped images, but if you want to spend the month making inked backgrounds or working with stencils then go for it. The important thing is to take a bit of time for yourself and have fun.

Join us over on Instagram using the hashtag  or, if you prefer, we have a private group on Facebook.

All the details are over on The Daily Marker blog and yes, there are only 28 days in February, but it’s still the twelfth “30 day colouring challenge”…

I’ll be posting on my Instagram account — craftyratuk — and commenting both there and on Facebook over the month.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!

Now excuse me while I go clear all the filing off my craft desk so I actually have some space to colour!
