Not everything has to be a card. I coloured this over a year ago, laminated it and stuck it up on the wall on the landing just above where things that need to be put in the loft tend to accumulate. Completely missing out the “take photos for the blog” stage.
In an attempt to catch up with blogging (yet again), I carefully peeled it off the wall and took a couple of photographs — I did try taking some in situ, but it’s a bit of a dimly lit corner and they looked awful.
The stamp set is designed for “moving house” cards, but the selection of boxes and bits was perfect for this sign.
I used an alphabet stamp for the words and coloured the image with Copic markers. A quick run through the laminator and it was ready to be stuck on the wall with a 3M Command strip (which really didn’t mark the paint at all when I took it off for the photos).
Copic markers:
box 1 – E31, E33, E35, E37
box 2 – E55, E57, E59
tape runner – R05, R27, E33, E35, W3
lamp – B60, B63, B66, B69, B79
labels – W00, W1, W3
shadow – T0, T1, T3, T5
