Layer cake

Layer cake

Cake!!!!! I was tempted to colour rainbow layers but decided to make it into a massive chocolate cake instead.

On the digi stamp, the banner says “live it up”, but I wanted a more traditional “happy birthday” so I wrote it in by hand; I could probably have found a stamp that would fit in the space, or even added it using the computer, but this way was quicker.

I picked a light ink and randomly stamped tiny cupcakes across the background, filling in the gaps with solid dots.

For a little bit of shine, I added glossy accents to each of the dots on the cake and also to the banner.

  1. Cake! I love cake! I’d be very happy with this cake for my birthday. Love the background images, which add something, but don’t take away from the main feature. Cake. Did I say how much I loved cake? Xx
