Cake!!!!! I was tempted to colour rainbow layers but decided to make it into a massive chocolate cake instead.
On the digi stamp, the banner says “live it up”, but I wanted a more traditional “happy birthday” so I wrote it in by hand; I could probably have found a stamp that would fit in the space, or even added it using the computer, but this way was quicker.
I picked a light ink and randomly stamped tiny cupcakes across the background, filling in the gaps with solid dots.
For a little bit of shine, I added glossy accents to each of the dots on the cake and also to the banner.

Another catch-up post. This card was created on 9th July 2016 as part of The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.
Looks delish. I don’t like those usually fluorescent colours used. It makes me feel I would start glowing that colour thru my skin after eating! Very nice card. 👌

I grew up with battenburg cake so I’m okay with pink and yellow, but anything else is a no-no, although apparently I did make a bright green cake for my uncle when I was little!

What a cute card! That image is so cute! Love the glossy accents! Really makes the “dots” on the cake stand out! Love it! 🙂

Cake! I love cake! I’d be very happy with this cake for my birthday. Love the background images, which add something, but don’t take away from the main feature. Cake. Did I say how much I loved cake? Xx

Cake is good. Except on those annoying occasions when it looks much nicer than it tastes. And even then it is better than many many other things 🙂
