Doodled die-cut circles

doodled die-cut circles

This definitely falls into the really simple category. The sort of card that you can make when you just want to switch your brain off and do a little bit of flat colouring and a lot of easy doodling.

I die-cut several overlapping circles in a piece of card, coloured the individual pieces and doodled contour lines on each of them. A little Wink of Stella added a bit of shine to some. I glued the outer frame to a card base and then pieced all the circle bits back in place. A heat embossed sentiment finished it off.

    1. It’s nice to have some simple techniques to hand when you don’t feel like spending hours colouring or doing complicated layouts. I think I’ll try this again with some different shaped dies… maybe inlay a flower or leaf die-cut as a focal point…
