I love Power Poppy flowers. And apparently I love colouring them in pink; first the two Mother’s Day cards and now this. I zoomed in close on this one so I could add in plenty of detail on those small flowers. Geraniums come in lots of colour variations and, as the digi stamp is so realistic, I thought I should base the colour scheme on a real one too.
I’m rather enjoying using coloured pencils to add detail to Copic colouring; that little bit of extra precision and definition really makes a difference.
I didn’t have a plan for the finished colouring, but then a need for a supportive card came up and I added the sending you hugs sentiment and die cut. Hopefully it will have reached its destination by now, but international post can be a bit unpredictable.
