What:
As soon as I saw this digi stamp from Some Odd Girl I knew I had to use it to make a card for one of my other half’s nieces who plays the violin.
How:
Before I started colouring the image with Copic markers I printed it out on regular printer paper and planned out where the highlights and shadows should fall on the folds of the dress; this made it a lot easier when it came to doing the final colouring.
I heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card, cut a couple of pieces of patterned paper to size and mounted them flat on the card base along with a strip of glitter tape. I fussy cut the image and popped it up on foam tape.
I did think about adding some sequins or other sparkle, but then decided that a touch of restraint was in order and I liked it just the way it was.
