Just a note: Lavender

What:

This started out as just a quick doodle, but I thought it would make a nice simple card.

How:

I drew the lavender on piece of Neenah solar white, cut and scored it as a top-folding card, added the sentiment on a die-cut tag and mounted it at the base of the lavender with foam tape. Then I finished it off with a few scattered sequins. But there was something missing. It looked a bit sparse (maybe one day I’ll get the hang of being happy with white space on cards) — eventually I decided to give it a quick spray of colour while masking off the sentiment and the area below it.
