Silver snowflakes on red stars

This was a super simple card to make. It would have been even simpler if I had remembered to put some double-sided adhesive on the back of the card before I die-cut the snowflakes. I did a decent job sticking them on with glue and it looked fine until I looked at some of the detail photos I’d taken of the finished card. But no-one else will be looking at it that closely, so I am just going to ignore the perfectionist part of my brain.

The dry-embossed star panel was another piece rescued from my stash box. There are a couple more panels like this in there, but this was the only Christmassy coloured one. The sentiment was left over from last year’s seasonal card-making. I used the Creative Expressions snowflake panel die to cut the snowflakes from some leftover silver card.

It’s a simple card, but effective. If I hadn’t already decided to use up some of the cards in my stash, I would probably have made a few more like this.
