Foil cut-out block Christmas tree

Before I remembered that I had the Deco Arts foil transfer gel, I tried some of the Pebeo Mixtion paste through the block tree stencil. And definitely didn’t get good enough coverage — as you can see on the rainbow tree — the foil went on very unevenly, with lots of tiny gaps in it. The only reason that the teal one is better is because I foiled it a second time.

But I quite like the distressed look, even if it wasn’t what I was trying to create, and I didn’t want to waste the foil. I blended a little blue ink over the whole tree and polished the excess ink off the foil before adding the shiny card baubles. Then I decided to fussy cut the trees out and mount them on sparkly card bases.
