Forest finds baubles

Yes, it’s another Power Poppy digi stamp — I love the quirky arrangement of the baubles and it’s something a little different.

I wasn’t really thinking about the layout of a card when I coloured this (I was not making Christmas cards, I was just doing some relaxing colouring) so I had to do a bit of thinking to get it to look right. The image proportions are different to those of the card base and I decided to crop it slightly to avoid it looking “stuck on”. That gave me the opportunity to add an extra layer of patterned paper to the design and allowed me to let the die-cut sentiment overflow the main panel. A scattering of glitter drops finished off the card nicely.
