I’ve developed an appreciation of lino cut prints over the last year or so and this one particularly appeals to me. It strikes definite nostalgic tones for me — I grew up on a small farm in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside. The fields of my childhood were bigger than this one but there were hedgerows, trees, woodland, birds and, a mile away, a village with a church.
