I was lucky enough to win this in an Instagram giveaway at the end of last year. I’d started following Cabby on Instagram after seeing her on “Home Is Where the Art Is” — a BBC TV programme where artists compete to win a commission. A lot of her ceramics are smoke-fired, a technique with unpredictable but often beautiful results.

I just love all the detail on this. It’s only around 10cm tall, but it fits a lot of colour and texture in that small space.
