I have had this digi stamp sitting on my hard drive for a while now, just waiting for the right time to be used. And this Christmas was that time. A friend of ours builds robots as a hobby and I just had to turn this one into a Christmas robot for him.
The original digi stamp just has the robot on his own so, once I had printed it out, I drew in a trail of baubles by hand and gave him a star on top of his head. I coloured him with Copic markers and added some white gel pen highlights on both him and the baubles.
I trimmed the panel down to size and added red Distress ink along the sides. After stamping the sentiment, I drew in a cord to hang it from the top of the card.
Some drops of red glitter around the edges finished it off — because I can’t leave well alone and white space seems to be one of those “nice in theory” things.
