A simple card, but effective. But then, anything shiny on a black background stands a good chance of looking nice 🙂
This was a really easy card to make. I just smeared stripes of the gilding polish across some watercolour paper and then die cut one large and three smaller hearts from it.
I die cut the word “friend” from the big heart, being careful not to lose the enclosed pieces from the middle of the letters, and glued it flat onto a black card base. I used the die-cut word to help me put the tiny pieces back in the right place and then popped the small hearts up using fun foam.
I decided it needed a little something extra, so I heat embossed “for you” in white on some vellum, fussy cut around it and mounted it in place with clear foam squares.

Beautiful. The textures on the heart really give a finishing touch.
Apparently I *need* a pink gilding wax

It’s very different too. It’d give my existing stash a whole new life
