Butterfly over glitter cells

This card combines two shiny things: glitter kiss and Perfect Pearls. And I even got to use a bit of patterned paper.

I’d had a play with the glitter kiss, seeing how it covered straight to paper and through a stencil. I haven’t really figured out how it works yet — sometimes it seems to stick really well, laying down a solid covering of glitter, and sometimes it just glides across leaving virtually nothing behind, and it can even do both in one stroke… It is very pretty though.

I cut an irregular shape from a stencilled piece and layered it over some matching patterned paper.

The butterfly was heat embossed in white on vellum and then covered with Versamark and Perfect Pearls. That looked quite pretty, but it wasn’t strong enough to hold its own over the glittered cells so I coloured the back of the vellum with Sharpies.
